ARCA DE ASA
This is the only vineyard outside Laguardia with which we make a finca wine. It is a very special vineyard since it belonged to my wife's grandmother, who always wanted a great wine to be made with the grapes from that plot.
It is located in Lanciego and it is a really nice farm, on the banks of Arroyo Viñaspre. Its name, Arca de Asa, refers to an ancient reservoir - Arca - that collected the waters of the Asa River.
